Here is a sample of hats I make. I make the hoods from wool from Bluefaced Leicester sheep that I raised combined with fine Merino wool. I usually felt some type of fabric into the surface of the hood, which adds texture. Hand dyeing the wool and fabrics allow for limitless combinations. I block the hood on traditional wooden hat blocks, many of which are vintage.
